Military OneSource provides resources, information and strategies on developing your personal plan to prepare for college or achieving career advancement. In addition, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs provides a lot of great resources on the GI Bill, education and training opportunities, VA-approved institutions and educational programs and services.
Pennsylvania National Guard Tuition Assistance
Tuition assistance is available for students who enter into a service commitment with the Pennsylvania National Guard for a period of six years. Connect with Veterans’ Employment Representatives at any of the statewide PA CareerLink® Offices to receive free job counseling, training referrals, and placement services. Eligible veterans are given priority in the referral to job openings and training opportunities, with disabled veterans receiving the highest priority.
The Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veteran Affairs (DMVA) has both civil and non-civil service employment available. The DMVA also provides an online directory of useful links and resources including information for education and employment.
